Meet Tom

Thomas Arida is a long-term activist and organizer from North Tonawanda, New York. Since beginning his work in local politics during his undergraduate term at D’youville University in 2016, he has worked on over 150 campaigns at the state, local, and federal levels.

In 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic, Thomas founded his own consulting and activist organization, which has served as the jumping-off point for many campaigns in the area. This gave Thomas the on-the-ground management experience, and he knows inside and out the work it takes not only to run a campaign but also win a race like this.

Thomas is dedicated to the idea that every political race should be challenged at every level, and believes that no politician should get a free ride – something he intends to say to his opponent, Senator Robb Ortt across the debate stage.
